Pretty & Dainty Pair of Cranberry Glass Vases ... so typical of the Glassware of the Mid Century Post World War II era. It has the styling of Classic pre modern decor; elegant yet functional. Ruby flash style glassware enjoyed a revival during the mid century as young housewives' styled their homes in an Early American/Victorian theme. Pretty little touches of color and graceful style. Such a pretty accent in the home decor of the time. DIMENSIONS and SPECS: Each Approx. 10 1/4" tall Approx 8" diameter graduated down to approx 5 3/4" diameter at base with narrower areas in between and flare opening at top of each vase. Etched clear glass pattern with cranberry pink color on inside of vase. Clear Glass bottom. No obvious chips or cracks-- in good vintage shape. Light/Dark areas are reflections (see photo). This is typical of the pretty glassware that suburban housewives of the mid century post war boom loved. Dainty glass vases that looked pretty on the shelf or table but oh so practical.
