Classic Child Juvenile Mystery Book with decorative cover...Art graphic cover with decorative embossed artwork on front and spine. A tale of mystery and intrigue featuring Carol Breck solving mysteries as she goes about her daily life as a secretary for Alan Hoyt. Mr. Hoyt was a collector of rare antiques and had a complete collection of apostle spoons. One comes up missing after a late night intrusion that left Mr. Hoyt unconscious and several unanswered questions that began our tale of the missing 13th spoon. Tale is told in a round about manner with Carol Breck acting as an Early Nancy Drew in the 1930's. Typical classic mystery story for girls during the early 1930's. Book is in good vintage condition for age with slight wear/rubs to cover/spine and light fading to end spine . Sepia tone illustrated end papers with graphic design and original owner's name and gift inscription Mother June 1933. List of contemporary children's fiction in back Binding firm.
