Details: circa 1980's Classic Vintage Mid Century to Retro Sailor Boater Panama straw hat with red ribbon trim...It has been carefully stored through the years. Hat is in Good Vintage condition. It appears to be worn only a few times. Lovely tailored vintage hat that has a bit of "flirty" flair. Circumference Approx. 21 3/4" Crown approx. 3" high. Brim approx. 3" wide with additional approx 1 1/2" upturn. Approx 14 1/2" X 14 1/2" across brim front to back and side to side. Wide Red Ribbon hat band with multiple loops in the back and a Grosgrain inner hat band. Label inside Lily J Eric Javets Eric Javets is an exceptional fashion designer with a background in painting and sculpture. In 1978 he began making hats as a diversion and has become a fashion icon and his hats are works of art. His hats have been featured in movies and television including Dynasty and Dallas. The Lily J label is named for his Grandmother who was an artist and had a great influence in cultivating his artistic pursuits. (see photos as they are part of description for condition and details).
