Vintage Evening Bag Purse classic clutch with white and silver bead accent .... So ladylike and elegant perfect for your next cocktail party. Details: Clutch style Purse has white pearl and silver"shot" bar beads with fold over flap snap closure. Circa 1940's 1950's. Purse is approx. 6 1/4" wide at top edge and is approx. 7 1/4" wide at widest point and approx 6 3/4" wide at bottom (measured flat). Approx 6" - 6 1/4" tall with flap opened. It is made with hand stitched bead accents. Purse is in good shape, clean and does not appear to have been used much--no wear to beading (light stain inside). All beads and trim intact--area at bottom fold did not have beads originally from factory (this was so that the purse could open wider/flex to hold items without wearing the beads loose and for the size of beads to fit the pattern--does not appear to have lost beading---just empty areas). Label inside EMSON Handmade Japan Purse is approx 4" tall from flap top closed to bottom of purse. Snap button closure. Purse opens approx. 6" X 3 1/2". Small size vintage purse but large enough to hold your essential "necessities" --a "bit of money" and cosmetics. It is your classic small cocktail/evening purse style.
