Details: Soft vintage white Clutch style Purse has white beads with gold kiss snap closure. Beaded design on front has pointed leaf all over pattern with "swirl" bead design on back. Circa 1950's-1960's. Purse is approx. 8 1/2" wide . Approx 4 1/4" tall. Small gusset at bottom for ease. Pocket in lining with mirror. It is made with hand stitched bead accents. Purse is in good shape, clean and does not appear to have been used much--no wear to beading (light stain inside at pocket) and small stain on outside edge about mid way on edge--very light. Purse opens approx. 7" X 3". Label inside Made in Spain Expressly for Swansons on the Plaza. (Swanson's was a very posh department store in Kansas City's iconic Country Club Plaza---Kansas City's elite shopping district established in the 1920's--much like Beverly Hills Rodeo Drive. Swansons was originally founded in 1887 and closed in 2006 when it became a part of the Macy's group. ) Small size vintage purse but large enough to hold your essential "necessities" --a "bit of money" and cosmetics.
