Lovely vintage Lefton China teacup with Roses. Pretty Decorative Footed Teacup featuring dark pink roses with Mother of pearl and gold accents. Classic mid century style with dainty handle and footed pedestal base. Delightful china cup and saucer ready for a "spot of tea"...so elegant...my grandmother always said that tea tasted better when drinking out of a china cup. This teacup would be a lovely way to enjoy your breakfast or afternoon tea. George Zolttan Lefton Co imported from Japan pottery, porcelain, glass and other wares and sold them from 1941-2002. It is a typical Mid Century cup and saucer set from a time when time was taken to enjoy a moment from the cares of the day...a cup and saucer to use...pretty on the shelf and pretty in the hand...a perfect indulgence.

DIMENSIONS and SPECS: Teacup is approx. 2 1/2" tall and the saucer is approx. 5 7/8" diameter across. The cup is approx. 4 3/4" across the top at the handle, including handle. No obvious chips or cracks. (small factory nick--glazed over--on cup pedestal not noticeable just feel slight bump) Gold on handle and edges of cup and saucer and at the footed base of cup. Dainty handle with footed cup. Mother of Pearl inside cup. Pretty floral motif on front and inside of cup and on saucer. Marked Lefton China Hand Painted with crown motif.
