Majolica Japanese Tea Pot. Delightful and cheerful pink and blue floral china tea pot ready for a "spot of tea"...so elegant...my grandmother always said that tea tasted better when prepared in a pretty tea pot. Using this tea pot would be a lovely way to enjoy your breakfast or afternoon tea. Such a lovely pink color with Blue Floral "magnolia" pattern. This would be the special shower, birthday or tea party gift for that special someone who would love an indulgence. This tea pot is marked Made in Japan. It is a typical Japanese tea pot from a time when time was taken to enjoy a moment from the cares of the day with a cup of tea and a pretty tea pot...pretty on the shelf and pretty in the hand...a perfect indulgence.

DIMENSIONS and SPECS: Tea Pot is approx. 6 1/2" tall to the knob at the top of the lid. The tea pot is approx. 9" from the edge of the spout across the top at the handle, including handle. No obvious chips, cracks in body. Blue floral "magnolia" pattern in blue tones with green leaves. Tea pot has a fancy handle and is ribbed body and is "square" shaped. Typical Styling of Japanese "majolica" china. Small factory flaws in paint and finishing typical of the mass produced china of the era. Slight roughness on spout. Marked Made in Japan.
