This is another Tea Cup/Saucer set from the estates of a group of ladies who collected beautiful teacups. It is a typical Mid Century cup and saucer set from a time when women collected teacups to display and to use...pretty on the shelf and pretty in the hand...a perfect indulgence. The lady who collected this cup originally was part of a club where the members exchanged teacups at various events.
We Love Pretty Teacups and are always on the "treasure hunt" for unique and pretty sets to offer in our shops. As members of the Daughters of the British Empire, tea time is a very special part of our life.

DIMENSIONS and SPECS: Teacup is approx. 2 7/8" tall with handle and the saucer is approx. 6" diameter across. The cup is approx. 5" across the top at the handle, including handle. No obvious chips, cracks. (see photos) Marked Kasuga Ware Fine China Japan Flower of the Month (wild rose) Dog Rose No. 6 Hand Painted...an excellent example of the style of mid century Japanese China.
