This is another Tea Cup/Saucer set from the estates of a group of ladies who collected beautiful teacups. It is a typical Mid Century cup and saucer set from a time when women collected teacups to display and to use...pretty on the shelf and pretty in the hand...a perfect indulgence. The lady who collected this cup originally was part of a club where the members exchanged teacups at various events.

DIMENSIONS and SPECS: Teacup is approx. 3 1/4" tall and the saucer is approx. 5 1/2" diameter across. The cup is approx. 4 1/2" across the top at the handle, including handle. No obvious chips, cracks...some slight wear to gold pattern. Unmarked but in the style of mid century Japanese China...it was probably marked with a paper label that has washed off with use. Gold accents on edges and body of cup & saucer and on dainty scrolled handle. Mother of pearl on inside of cup and deep pink (pink cerise/ruby) luster accent bands on edge of cup and saucer.
