Women were looking for new and better times in the years to come and as more women were working outside the home they needed a tailored ensemble but didn't want to lose their feminine appeal.

Details: circa 1950's Antique peachy flesh pink grey tone Velvet Fabric, Silver Beads, feathers and faux pearls decorate hat. Approx. 21 1/2" diameter. Approx 11 1/2" measured ear to ear across top of hat Approx 8 1/4" front to back of hat across top of hat. Hat is a fascinator, "eggshell", toque style and sits on top of head. Velvet fabric "petals-leaves" beading, feathers and pearls cover the hat built on millinery net frame. No Label. Lace veil can be added if desired for a wedding hat. New bridal tulle yardage can be purchased at fabric store to attach if desired. (see photos as they are part of description for condition and details). Use zoom feature to view greater detail.
