DIMENSIONS and SPECS: Teacup is approx. 2 1/2" tall and the saucer is approx. 5 5/8" diameter across. The cup is approx. 4 5/8" across the top at the handle, including handle. No obvious chips, cracks. Color is bright without wear--Pattern is clear (light areas are light reflections--light wear/pattern skip on gold on cherries on saucer (see pics). Gold on handle and edges of cup and saucer. Dainty decorative handle with gold accent. Dainty scallop edge on cup and saucer. The inside of the cup and outside of saucer are blue with gold fruit design (pineapple and cherries). White china on outside of cup and back of saucer. It is a typical style of the Mid Century mass produced Japanese china. Circa 1940's-1950's. It is marked in gold made in Japan Hand Painted with a gold wreath motif. It is in the style of mid century china with the style of the cup and saucer one that was used on many pieces of Mid Century Japanese china teacups that the "ladies who lunched" loved and and shared.
