Vintage White Gloves.... So Elegant and ladylike with bead and pearl embellishment. Pretty Decorative flower pattern in beads with all over bead work too using pearl and white beads.  A classic mid century matinee glove styling retro Hollywood glamour. They would be a lovely glove for your wedding ensemble. Elegant for a tea party too.

Details: NOS new old stock Matinee Gloves are White with decorative dimensional ornate bead styling on the back of hand and a lovely band of decorative bead work at the cuff edge. They are mid forearm length. Approx. 11" long cuff to end of middle finger Approx. 3" (stretches to 4")measured flat at knuckles. Length of middle finger to knuckles approx. 3 1/2" Approx. 1" base of thumb to wrist and approx 4" to bottom of cuff. Approx 4" wide at the cuff with slight flare. They have a label: Superior Nylon Made in Hong Kong. Fits Size7-8 Nylon Polyester fabric with some stretch for ease of wear. Small spot on one finger from age/storage. Circa late 1950's-1960's (see photos as they are part of description for condition and details). Use zoom feature to view greater detail.

(Sizing is generally determined by measuring widest part of hand..knuckles with hand slightly flexed...make a fist. This will give a circumference size which usually corresponds to the glove size i.e. 3 1/2" across measured flat is approx. size 7 glove. Cotton gloves do have some slight give for sizing and can be stretched when damp.)

These gloves came from an estate where I purchased several other pairs of gloves (will be listing more later). The family had a boutique ladies emporium and dealt in gloves. They loved and appreciated gloves and had the best for themselves and their clients.
