It is a typical Mid Century cup and saucer set from a time when time was taken to enjoy a moment from the cares of the day...a cup and saucer to use...pretty on the shelf and pretty in the hand...a perfect indulgence. It is typical of the mid century English Bone China Teacups so popular with the ladies "lunch and do tea".

DIMENSIONS and SPECS: Teacup is approx. 3 1/4" tall and the saucer is approx. 5 1/2" diameter across. The cup is approx. 4 3/4" across the top at the handle, including handle. No obvious chips, cracks. Gold on handle of cup and saucer and at base and top edge of cup. Montrose cup shape. The cup has Detailed Floral on the cup and on the saucer--violet bouquet with ribbon and Happy Anniversary in gold on cup and saucer. Marked Royal Grafton Bone China Made in England.
