A classic English Bone China teacup with Charming small floral chintz design. Lovely flowers in pink and blue tones....a typical pattern that dates from the 1930's to the early mid century years after the Second World War. It is a typical Mid Century cup and saucer set from a time when time was taken to enjoy a moment from the cares of the day...a cup and saucer to use...pretty on the shelf and pretty in the hand...a perfect indulgence.

DIMENSIONS and SPECS: Teacup is approx. 2 3/4" tall and the saucer is approx. 5 1/2" diameter across. The cup is approx. 4" across the top at the handle, including handle. Lovely scalloped edges on cup and saucer. No obvious chips, cracks. Small dark speck on cup. Gold on handle and edges of cup and saucer. Pink toned Bone China. The cup has chintz like small Floral Accents outside the cup and on the saucer. Some wear to gold on cup edge. Marked Mayfair Bone China Made in England . It is typical of the mid century English Bone China Teacups so popular with ladies who "lunch and do tea". Please see photos as they are part of the description.
