Lovely vintage teacup with Pink floral featuring a pattern of roses in the Dainty style of English Bone china; classic yet with a modern touch. Delightful china cup and saucer ready for a "spot of tea"...so elegant...my grandmother always said that tea tasted better when drinking out of a china cup. This teacup would be a lovely way to enjoy your breakfast or afternoon tea. This would be the special shower, birthday or tea party gift for that special someone who would love an indulgence. It is a typical Mid Century cup and saucer set from a time when time was taken to enjoy a moment from the cares of the day...a cup and saucer to use...pretty on the shelf and pretty in the hand...a perfect indulgence. DIMENSIONS and SPECS: Teacup is approx. 3 1/8" tall and the saucer is approx. 5 1/2" diameter across. The cup is approx. 4 1/2" across the top at the handle, including handle. No obvious chips or cracks. Gold on handle and edges of cup and saucer and at the footed base of cup. Pedestal footed cup. Slight Scalloped edges on cup rim and saucer . Pretty pale pink rose floral on outside of cup and detailed rose pattern on saucer. Marked Old Royal Bone China England. Circa 1940's-1950's Please see photos as they are part of the description. Old Royal Bone China was made by Sampson Smith of Longton. Began manufacture in 1846 and ceased in 1963.
