DETAILS: Gloves are soft leather. Black leather gloves, long debutante (They have the classic French 3 button "mouquetaire" styling detail) NOS new old stock --(they are waiting to shape to your hand--not stretched and as you wear them they will mold to fit your hand--soft leather with some give). Stamped inside size 6 1/2 Approx. 18" long cuff to finger tip. Approx. 2 7/8" measured flat at knuckles. Approx. 4" middle finger to knuckles. Approx. 1" base of thumb to wrist. Approx 4 1/4" wide at the cuff measured flat. Cuff has slight flare. Circa 1920's (see photos as they are part of description for condition and details). Use zoom feature to view greater detail.
(Sizing is generally determined by measuring widest part of hand..knuckles with hand slightly flexed...make a fist. This will give a circumference size which usually corresponds to the glove size i.e. 3 1/2" across measured flat is approx. size 7 glove. Fabric gloves do have some slight give for sizing and can be stretched when damp.)
These gloves came from a Multi-Generational estate where I purchased several other pairs of gloves (will be listing more later). The family owned a store that had fine ladies wear. They carried the best in their shop and wore the best themselves. I hand select each pair of gloves that we have in the shop. I wear gloves myself and choose pairs that I would love to have myself.
